A new era (or is that error?)

For some inexplicable reason I have decided to try and maintain a weekly blog.  Or to maintain a blog, weakly.  To be honest, having made two very poor plays-on-words in the first three sentences is not a good sign, so maybe this isn’t such a great idea after all.

I’m not sure what this blog will contain, exactly.  I’m planning on writing about stuff that interests me, so that could range from work stuff (media, consulting, management, computers), home stuff (kids, big TVs, bad DIY, computers), and personal stuff (sleight of hand magic, running, science, books, computers).  There may be a bit of a computers/technology bent, I suspect.

Stuff that’s interesting me right now, and may be the target for my first blog are:

  • Choosing red wine
  • Small-to-mid-sized TVs for bedrooms
  • The Asus UX31 Zenbook
  • Forever Drive on the iPad
  • Derren Brown’s Experiments
  • Haruki Murakami
  • Whether BT Vision is any good

So I’m setting myself the target of having a real blog up here by next Saturday; something that actually talks about something, rather than something that talks about talking about something.  If you follow me.  Let’s see how good I am with deadlines…
